I don't want be the one to point out that they did not lower the price when we went to 6 games last year. Really rude to increase the prices to get back to the number of games we had last year.

As i had said, the average price has gone down in most areas, not all.

We went through a pretty thorough analysis of every section and we took the low end price points from the findings of that analysis.

Still, we are in the bottom half of pricing in the AAC on average.

Yes. The price went up. But you can pay over 8 months with no interest. That's $40/mo per seat if you sit on the 20 yard line. Less if you don't mind the end zone or corners.

Do I like paying more for things? No. But it's life. Gas isn't 5¢ a gallon anymore and bread costs more than 15¢. I'd rather have my season ticket money go to USF than the Bucs or Rays.

My ticket went up $13 per game, per seat. That's one hell of a bump in price.

I'm in 209 and it looks like it was one of the sections that went up - around $14 per seat per game.

One thing I like is that it looks like they are going back to the days of making the corresponding sections on the East side of the stadium to cost less than the West side sections to compensate for the sun burns.  I remember a couple of years ago when they made them the same, there was a big migration of folks over to the West.

We may be in a multi-year marketing strategy:

Phase 1:  Make the East (sunny) side cheaper to get new fans in with good views

Phase 2:  Make both sides the same price to move those existing East fans to the West (I mean who wouldn't?)

Phase 3:  Make the East side cheaper again to bring in new fans and assume the West fans who migrated earlier will not want to go back to the East.

Phase 4:  Repeat

It's probably what I would do

I'm assuming the increase in price was to try and gouge Wisconsin and BYU fans like we did to FSU a few years back. Something tells me there hasn't been a rush on season ticket inquiries the past few weeks from the locals.

They're getting real close to pricing me out of the stadium completely.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
