That anyone finds solace in this makes baby Jesus cry

I don't find solace in this, but it will be the highlight of our season. I attended USF with the good old Polk county boy leading us l in the " glory days" so I know all about the let downs...

It still ruins my day. It doesnt ruin my week anymore like it used to so that is progress. At least I have the lightning to fall back on.

The losses never ruin anything more than about 20 minutes after the game. Same as it's always been

I am more sad/depressed after the last USF game of the season (bowl or otherwise) as I know I won’t be watching my favorite team in all of sports for 9 months....

Sometimes I’ve welcomed the break with open arms.

There is just no way I believe anyone was sad when CSH’s last season concluded at 3-9 or when CWT’s first season ended at 2-10; there is only so much suffering anyone can endure before they need some form of hiatus to regroup and have hope spring eternal at the start of the next season.

Actually I was good as he was fired the day after...I was ready for the next season to start right away. In terms of Willie’s first year yes that was difficult. Bad USF football is better than good sports in other areas...at least for me.

I wish I could be that satisfied in life.
