So in other words the original article posted was irrelevant. I feel pretty bad for Kean through all of this. Everyone basically penciled him out.

Don’t know how that’s worth a downvote but sweet.

That's because until today, he was suspended. The original article was 100% accurate when it said Kean was currently not able to play in the first 4 games of the season, but he was hopeful an appeal would change that. That article can be true and so can today's news.

What about 2013? We had:

  • Steven Bench
  • Bobby Eveld
  • Tommy Eveld
  • Matt Floyd
  • Mike White

We were deep that year, all right. Deep s---.

Three of them had little business playing division one football. Floyd is easily the worst qb to start at USF.

Atleast one of the Evelds helped us beat Miami I guess, the three we have now are much improved over that group.

Not totally irrelevant but definitely misinformation. When it was written, it was 2 games with an ongoing appeal to wipe those out, none of that mentioned ..... but hey, he was the first with the misinfo!

I believe it was still 4 games at the time of the article and according to Strong. Then reduced to 2 afterwards. And hopeful it would be wiped out.

I said irrelevant.  Not innacurate. I meant it in the fact that it doesn’t matter at this point because he’s able to play. I don’t think it was wrongly reported at all. I think his sources may have spoken too soon but what was going on at the time doesn’t matter because he’s eligible for game 1.

Irrelevant as of today, for sure. VERY relevant on the day it was published.

The irrelevant as of today is the point I was getting at.

Appear to be.  Don't know much about any of them in real games.

Make no mistake about it...Barnett will start. Kean and O may play against Elon in the second half. CCS will say that he feels more comfortable with the stars given to Barnett out of high school and the experience gained while being at Bama and ASU.

In other words, he didn't recruit the other two. After watching spring ball he had to get help at the position.

I agree

It’s then Chris O show this season. The other two should get comfortable riding the pine.
