Thats not the buyout, that is the payment to the teams for completing the games. In 1 for 1 series, it almost always is the same. It just helps balance budgets and cover travel costs.

“USF will receive $300,000 for the trip to Raleigh, and will pay N.C. State the same amount for the return visit.

If either team cancels, the buyout is $500,000 if done 36 months or more before the scheduled date of the game. It increases to $1 million if a team cancels more than 18 months but less than 36 months before the contest.

If one school cancels within 18 months before a game's scheduled date, the buyout goes to $1.995 million.”

Another Addidas school just like Ville.  The Tampa game will surely get bought out though after 2021 but before the 36 month deadline.  Seems too convenient and cheap at 500k.

Lol 2021 can’t get here fast enough. There is a hotel right by the stadium that I stayed at last time. It was walking distance and it also close to the Carolina Hurricanes Arena. Also a good college bar had a lot of classy NC ST fans the last time we played there. Fun trip. Helped that we killed NC ST that year too lol

Assuming they wait until after they play us that’s an 11 day window. Not saying it doesn’t happen but that’s a small window right as the season starts. My money is on we get bought out in the million dollar window.

Yeah we won the ACC Championship that year
