Yes - we did certainly didn't do that this past season.  We fell from 2016 final #19 to #23.  Definitely not stronger.  Still don't think we start the season ranked though.

Nope. Not a chance.

About where I said they would finish. Still proud our program has finished ranked two years in a row when we had never been ranked at the end of the year prior to last season. Happy we were ranked ahead of both Boise and Memphis.

Although we won’t be ranked preseason next year, I do think we will be under the section “also receiving votes” for the AP. We just have to keep winning and build from there.

I thought we’d be like 15ish after playing the national champs so close :stirpot:

All about our QB play next year. There will never be another QF, but if we can get a manageable replacement there is a foundation of an 8 win team or so, considering how bad our conference is. But no way we will start the year ranked. I expect UCF (and maybe Memphis) will be, but I think UCF will be taking a step back with their new coaching staff. I haven't looked at their OOC schedule but I do think they lose 2 conference games next year.

USF will be one of them.

Best to finish the year still in the top 25 that out of it. This will resonate a good vibe for us - GO BULLS.

Can we cut to spring ball to name a starting qb already?
