Lots of TVs and pretty good food. I pre-game there for my softball games at Greco. You can't go wrong with Gators, either. Lots of TVs as well and good wings. If you're up for a 15 minute Uber, Hattricks downtown. Hot wings, shake and bake. Dynamite scenery. Edited December 27, 2017 by JTrue

Go to Miller Ale house and order some wings and a coke. There is a high chance real bars like World of Beer won't let you in or won't serve you alcohol. I can't think of any of those bars still being around except for a handful. I think that was mostly from the explosion of Ybor and then Channelside for a while. They weren't great bars-- but they were ours at least. It was a different time. It probably didn't hurt that when I first started going to USF it was the Fall of 1985-- and Florida had grandfathered anyone 19 around that time in even though the state law for drinking age adjusted to 21. That’s on 50th and Fowler so may be farther than you’re looking to go. I lived off of Fowler through college so I stayed on that side of campus mostly unless we were at Greenery(Tuesdays weren’t the same after they closed) or Acrop... It is my understanding that CopperTop is supposed to close this week for good, if it hasn't already. I believe the entire plaza was bought out (which includes CDBs). Used to love going to Ctop for their wings.
