Are there usually different allotted amounts for each team?

Was wondering the same thing

As the "smaller conference" how are we getting stuck with the bigger bill?

More like P5 bias

Lubbock to BHam is only 300 miles more than Tampa to Bham - both Lubbock and Birmingham are Central Time Zone

I would bet that the travel costs (specifically flights) are similar

This is just another way that the P5 is fleecing the AAC of money, further draining our coffers and widening the gap!!!

My guess would be that because the Birmingham Bowl isn t a B12 bowl tie-in the bowl and B12 probably came to an agreement that Texas Tech shouldn't be on the hook for the whole 10k allotment.

It is a hard sell. I appreciate their efforts but the timing of the bowl is bad. They should do busses  next season for regular season games. Finding people to go this late in the game is tough.

I am flying up tonight, staying at the Aloft. What are everyone's Friday night plans (after pep rally)? Is anyone tailgating? Like... a real tailgate....
