I *may* give you the fact that CWT gave Flowers a chance at QB...

BUT... I'll never concede that CWT made Flowers a star. If you have seen the houdini stuff that Q has pulled off over the last 3 years, I don't know how you can say that. 3/4 of his "stardom" comes from uncalled plays and making something happen himself. CWTs best move here was getting out of Q's way. Not to say that he can get no credit, but, Q is a special player and I won't give CWT credit as having "made him a star".

Q could've went to Bama and been an also ran reserve CB or Safety.  The thing is we will never know.  What we DO know is that only CWT was willing to put him on the field as a QB which allowed him to make those plays.   If anything they both owe EACH OTHER a lot, just like any great player and coach relationship.  I

If he's the Noles new DC, they may want to go with Cardboard Cutouts in stead of players. It will be easier to get the Cutouts then players for that Paper-D.

Are you doubting his ability as the Supreme Leader of their defense?

I agree. I assume he is there for recruiting, but who knows...he has somehow joined himself to WT’s hip.

FSU would probably be better off hiring Danny Verpaele who is now DC at Valdosta State.

Leavitt still has “K-State Clause”

Contract details released today show the former Wildcat assistant can still leave for K-State for free...but only to be head coach.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
