Also, penalties.  I sure hope Strong, or whomever is the coach, gets that crap cleaned up next year.

Protect the football . The game is on the line. This didn’t singlehandedly lose the game for us but sure didn’t help. This team has regressed big time with strong.

He fumbled, but that is what he does.  Any time he catches the ball, which isn't very often, I say to myself..."hold onto the ball."  His fumble percentage per catch has to astronomical.

He is definitely a make the grab and fumble type of guy.

That fumble did not lose this game.

Special teams should ve the ones with their heads in their hands.  They blew it all night.

Agree.

the return and the fumble.... just a really crappy ending.

If QF hits Wilcox on the seam pass when we were up 6 we’d like would have seen a different result.

Two weeks in a row

If Mitchell Wilcox didn’t drop the ball we could’ve scored. If Gilbert didn’t dial up 4 straight runs up the middle, if Nadelman didn’t miss a field goal and an extra point , if special teams wasn’t horrendous... we can play these if games. But it makes us sound like a bunch of losers

Stupid coaches for calling a play they know isn't going to work. Fire them all. The team has regressed!

If you want to blame Strong for something, this isn’t it.

He fumbled it. Period. Truth hurts. Feel bad for him, but crap happens and he is the person that will have to remember it.

Unfortunately I believe this to be correct, also.  Hopefully this is the wake-up call he needs to secure the ball better in the future.  He’s one of the biggest guys on the field ... no reason some puny DB should ever be able to knock the ball out of his grip.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
