the perceived divide at least as far as Vegas is concerned is based on the non common opponents. We both blew out all common opponents in the east. I don’t know how much you can glean from that besides that we are clearly the top 2 teams in the east. Looking at margin is one thing if there were some games that were close, but when they were all blowouts doesn’t really tell you much other than those opponents really suck.

Bottom line is can our defense stop the pass?  Can our offense score enough? We play conservative. We lose.

You DLine was gassed vs the Tulsa offense....and they had some slow backup RB and a backup QB play most of the 4th quarter

I mean, he’s arguably the best rb in the league.. didn’t look that slow to me. The backup played about one and a half drives.

D'Angelo Brewer isn't a slow RB and he's certainly not the backup.  If you look at the last Tulsa drive, we had them stopped pretty well until Brewer got the ball and got some chunk yardage.  And we weren't gassed.  If we were, Tulsa would have certainly converted a 4th and 9 to extend the drive and possibly tie the game.

We have mutiple D linemen. That is not an issue.  We shall see who comes to play on Friday.

Also, USF out-gained those opponents by 891 yards,  UCF by only 464.

Wow thats a big difference.

Its a closer game than many Ucf fans think.

I think its a much lower scoring game than most think...that favors Usf.

Do we have a lot of alumni going to Florida Central's forums/websites to talk smack? Just curious.. There are a lot of their alumni on here.

the starter hurt his ankle and missed a couple of key drives & their starting QB got knocked out on a dirty hit by Senat

point is the UCF offense is much more loaded and plays fast.

There is a reason that the only people picking USF to win are doing through green and gold goggles
