Based on the CFP so far, I doubt we would be ranked next week by beating Tulsa who will then  be 2-9.

I'm Assuming Boise beats AF who will then. be 4-7.

One current conspiracy theory is that the CFP won't rank USF because they don't want UCF to have another top 25 win to their credit, if they beat us. Their afraid of UCF jumping over some more P5 teams in the top 15.

 I'm not much for conspiracy theories, but there might be more than a grain of truth to that.

Boise needs to lose to Fresno State and USF needs to just keep winning.

USF is clearly being penalized for it’s non-conference schedule and I don’t think the committee is going to do us any favors especially if BSU wins out.

If we are conf champs we will not be in the St. Pete Bowl. Even if we lose to ucf it is highly unlikely we are in St Pete.

If we get that first conf trophy, I really don't give a **** where we play. Peach would be nice and I'd be there but I think we'd have a, relatively speaking, pretty poor showing representation wise there ....... Hopefully I'll get a chance to be proven wrong.

 Well, considering we have never won a conference championship ever, there’s nothing wrong with that being the primary goal.

I get ya. In any other year I think a conference championship would thrill me, I just expected more with this team. When chances for the brass ring are infrequent you must capitalize on them. That meant undefeated against our very weak schedule and the major bowl for me. Conference Championship was just a stepping stone and pre-requisite to get the other goals.

Don’t think we will be an AAC Championship position for three years. Get while the getting is good. If we win the AAC that is all we can do. The NYD Bowl aspect is really out of our hands.
