On 4and 24, the D choked, plain and simple. Hope they take value out of it and make sure it does not happen again.

Truth be told a PI or hold is even better than 30 yards, but that is hindsight.  What might more questionable is having Donelle Thomas and #80 (Steinke?)as the two guys at the end of our kick team coverage.  Basically asking these guys to make an athletic play with the game on the line.  Just drawing straws here.  Frustrating.

Yea this is old school coaching at its worst.   Play your best always.  Im trying to remember if Holtz did this but I think so.

 

 

The 4th and 24 isnt on the coaches IMO.  It was the right call the guy just high pointed it over Auggie.  Houston recruits talent better than anyone in the league.  Our DC has done a really good job but we havent played UCF yet.

UCF also hasn't played a Defense close to as good as ours yet either. But yes their offense looks really good.

Or it will be short, involve a bowel movement and we'd wish we had a chance to stop reading halfway through ...

Oh yeah .... just knock the ******* ball down. Blaming that play on coaching is ridiculous.
