If Taggart had stayed, would we be 8-0?

Taggart would've made a change at DC, and yes we would be 8-0.

I hate answering hypothetical questions like this, but because the thought actually went through my mind...yeah, I think we would.

No we wouldn't I would guess we are 6-2. Would have lost Houston still and one other in a shootout.

Offense would be better than this year's but still no where near as good as last year. Team's would have a whole offseason to gameplan better against the Gulf Coast Offense and don't have the same playmakers. Plus honestly feel like we overachieved last year with some lucky well timed gutsy deep balls etc.

Defense would have to be better than Woodie but who knows who Willie brings in. Could be anybody and doubtful that they would be better than BJM has been so far.

No, Houston would have still beaten us. The score would have been 51 to 49 or something like that but a loss nonetheless. That defense last year was piss poor.

No, I didn't call him #cash# in the title. Happy? :D

But seriously, do you think things would be different? ---Don't forget that porous defense from last season.

Fully agree

No.

See Temple last year.

That game was even more frustrating than the Houston loss because we couldn't stop a simple RB/FB run up the middle the entire game.

The Defense last year was atrocious.

We should be 8-0 with Strong.  The D was the reason we lost the game.  Giving up a 4th and 24 with less than a minute left is inexcusable.

I feel tge same wat BJM is not getting enough credit. we went frim last to top 15 in defense. Even against weaker competition we had an awesome D
