What if the marketing department is purposefully limiting itself so UCF won't have a strategy to counter it later this year?

it's not about marketing. they need to make it affordable for the casual fan. they will not pay same prices as hardcore season ticket holders. $15 per ticket for 100 and 200 east sideline would bring them in. $60 for a family of four. last weeks promotions were a start.

. good to see the promotions. we need more of them and to more groups. fill the stadium.

military, first responders , teachers, city employees, high school football players, etc should get these discounts every week until the stadium is full.

Wish they could $10 for vets. Also, what about half price or discount for those who attend a lightening game?

If someone won't spend $15 to go to our game, I don't see them spending $10

so you don't think 50% higher price would deter people from coming? yikes.

might want a lesson on economics

Maybe, maybe not. Hopefully they do some form of Marketing research to see what these price points are in terms of interest.

Not all 50%s are the same.  $5 dollars more for a football ticket is not the same as say paying the difference between a $50 ticket and a $75 ticket.

you don't need marketing research. just look at a supply and demand slope

The higher the price of a good the lower the quantity demanded (A), and the lower the price, the more the good will be in demand (C).
