If there's any sort of "ethics" to the voters, they tend to stick to the rule that they don't punish team that didn't play the particular week.

Well, that said, there are many AP voters out there who don't think we are any good.

In the AP poll, I think there will be a bit of a change of heart.  I think we stay at 18, UCF jumps to 17 and SDSU jumps to 16.  Navy also cracks the top 25.  Just a guess but I think UCF and SDSU may start to be the darlings of of the AP voters until they lose.

Of course it is  irrelevant where C is in the polls as we play them ( it is actually good for us that they are ranked better). SDSU is the problem right now. Not sure the committee would put us ahead of SDSU if we both end up undefeated. I guess we will find out how much the committee thinks of our conference.

San Diego State could jump us, but that was a bad team they beat.  UCF jumping 7-8 spots for beating a bad Cincy team is a bit of a stretch.

Memphis should get more points as well.  Houston may receive some votes too.

I see it as:

17 USF

21 UCF

25 Navy

28 Memphis

30+ Houston

Navy and Memphis play each other next week.  We, as a conference, need Navy to win.
