We pissed away a YUGE halftime lead. No other way to call it. I said that before we lost. Being about 15 feet from the action I saw all the grabs, holds and elbows they threw when setting picks or as the offensive player was going by they'd reach out and grab. Was told by another person there that they won't call fouls on #3 of Mizzou. She had watched a couple of their games. Sure enough she didn't get her first foul until the 2nd half and deserved 3 or more in the first half. Maybe it stands out so much because we don't play that style. But they seemed to step into the defender with an elbow being thrown as they set their picks.

They were outplayed, and out coached! Hate that choking bs, along with "out coached" bs. The players didn't make the plays they needed to to win the game .... Jose was out coached by Geno, by Coach Abe, and last night by Robin Pingeton. How is it being out coached when our players stopped making shots? I think the right words are: "out talented" and "out depthed." Edited March 18, 2017 by NewEnglandBull

Last night Mizzou took away our ability to score by giving us only low percentage shots in the 3rd quarter...thus we only scored 8 points. The shots we made in the first half we missed in the second half. Almost the same exact ones. Our lack of a bench is a serious problem as FT were also missed due to fatigue (this happend more than once this year). Yes, the defense was not good in the second, but for me, lack of scoring was most crucial.

I say choke because I saw at least 5 easy layup class shots that our girls just gagged on in the second half .They just seemed a little frantic to me but I see some very valid analysis here .
