Great night for USF athletics. First softball knocks of #6 Michigan then men's basketball gets first conference win and snaps a 12 game losing streak and a 15 game conference losing streak

From USF:

The University of South Florida men’s basketball team (7-17, 1-12 The American) won 64-57 against East Carolina (11-14, 3-9) on Saturday evening.

 

The Bulls snapped a 12-game losing streak with the victory. 

 

Senior guard Geno Thorpe (Pittsburgh) scored a team-high 22 points for USF. He also dished a game-high eight assists.

 

Redshirt freshman forward Tulio Da Silva (Brazil) tallied 13 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Just got back from the game and the players were pumped during and after the game.  Go to speak with CMB post game and he was all smiles and said that this one felt really good.  The work he has put in paid dividends tonighr.  Great atmosphere tonight!
