the hearings would be in texas I suspect.

Yes. Says so in the contract. In state court but UT could change to Federal and Strong agreed to this

I say we go for the back-loaded deal and throw in smazza for legal representation when Texas goes after him.

Can we give them smazza? I'd be all for that.

When Strong, 56, was fired at Texas a few weeks ago his contract still had two years with a base salary of $5 million per year remaining on it and no buyout clause.

Where is smazza today? I'd be interested in his opinion on this.

A non-compete refers to any similar job, not necessarily specific employers.

I suggest you find a complete copy of his contract because, what is there doesn't preclude him working for any particular school. It only stipulates that he must return 50% of the proceeds earned yearly. for the specified years.

Does that have something to do with Brazil?

No contract provision is clear when there is $10m on the line. For that, any attorney would argue the earth is flat.

Again, I have not argued that point.  I'm not sure why you keep thinking I disagree.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
