Side question anyone know why UF only played 11 games this season?

I think they were supposed to play an additional OOC cupcake game but the LSU game got moved to that weekend due to the hurricane.

The front page of espn.com is tOSU is the only team that can take down Bama in the playoffs.

Also what tiebreakers? Its no system, its just a bunch of old guys getting together and picking who they think the top 4 teams are.

I think its a good thing that tOSU gets in. Will mean a CC is left out and we get to 8 team playoff quicker. I personally think it should be 12 with the top 4 getting a bye, and 6 wild cards, but whatever I'm not in charge.

I don't disagree that they should revamp the college playoff number of teams I get inI don't disagree that they should revamp the college playoff number of teams I get in.

No way Ohio State deserves to be in Penn State wins but there's an argument to be made if Wisconsin wins

OSU is as good as in. ESPN said that AL could get blown out in the sec Champ game and they would still be in. Such a BS system in place. I will be long gone before they give all conferences an opportunity. Hopefully the G5 will have the balls to lawyer up one day.

Do you think coach Leavitt will consider the Houston job?  Personally I think he would wait for a P5 team before taking a head coaching position.

Go Bulls!

It's the premier G5 job. Of course he would take that job. If you succeed there you jump to major programs and loads of $$.

We're in trouble if we lose a coach to another G5 program

No team can beat Alabama. They impose their will on every one.

Ohio State was trailing Michigan the entire game and tied it with 5 seconds left. Then got help from the refs in overtime with a PI non-call and controversial spot.

If if Ohio State is so good, then Michigan should still go into the playoff to considering how close they played them.

Then we have Penn state who lost to Michigan but defeated Ohio State. So out of the 3, who is the best for a playoff?

Playoffs are to decide the national champion.  You don't win the conference you shouldn't get an invite over the conference champion.  Simple enough.

I don't think Ohio State will get an invite over Penn State if PSU wins the conference.

Go Bulls!

Still too many variables in play, but here goes

If PSU loses

1. Alabama (even if they lose to UF, unless they lose by 40, in which case they just fall to #2)

2. tOSU

3. Clemson

4. P12 winner

If PSU wins

1. Alabama

2. Clemson

3. PSU

4. P12 winner
