Do we know the pay difference?

I don't think that was released yet; just my speculation.

I'm actually shocked by this, although I probably shouldn't be. He's a great coach and a huge loss to the program.

Not that anyone needs to hear this from me, but Coach was a good person who won at a high level. After 15 years he doesn't owe us anything, if he felt this was the right move for him and his family then let me congratulate him.

Losing coaches because they won is not the worst thing in the world.

Take a look at our two main revenue sports. MBB & Football. Seth Greenberg is the only head coach to ever leave for a better job. Yes, I love guys like Ken and Jose who stay when they could have left, but at the end of the day, if we are the sort of program we want to be, coaches will leave because they won here and there is a better job out there somewhere else.

Agreed, and Keifer left us in a better situation than when he arrived. I actually like the suggestion of plucking FGCU's coach. They seem to find some great people to staff their sports programs.

I believe we were giod in soccer before Keifer but he certainly took the program to a higher level. this should be a pretty attractive job. Fortunately, the power five programs don't have a monopoly on men's soccer so we should get a good replacement.
