Has this season been an improvement?

We have 2 more wins than we did last year at this point, and we beat the teams we lost to last year (Memphis and Navy).  

But once again we are heading into the final game on the outside looking in, needing Temple to lose to a game they should win easily.

Of course this season is an improvement.  We've beaten all the teams we should have and lost to two pretty good teams.  (If we lose to UCF, I'll retract this statement)

Short answer, yes...  win out, we finished ranked and probably start the season ranked with a chance to start next season ranked and a hopefully re-tooled defense

Is it an improvement? Yes, but if we fail to get to the CCG it is also a disappointment, and we failed to meet reasonable expectations.

Yes it will be disappointing we don't make the championship game with our team. If we are 10-2 heading into bowl season, that would be the best record ever for us and is a good accomplishment for us. I think next year for sure with our schedule and team it would be a disappointment if we are not in the championship game.
