Seems like teams sit back on the sideline go routes but when they run a post to the middle it's open. UCF had a couple long wide open long catches that way against Temple. Maybe they're worried about Flowers throwing over the middle but it seems like they always go for the sideline routes.

Not passing, but, I find it interesting that the jet sweep to Adams has basically disappeared in the last couple of games. I think we tried one with maybe McCants last week that I saw? Of course, I missed the first half because I have bad friends (wedding).

I think it was used so much that teams expect it and have game-planned to stop it.  Part of it is probably the coverage. Maybe the defense is shadowing Adams or the side he is running to.

With the speed we have, I'm surprised we haven't tried a reverse jet sweep.  That would be fun to watch.

Still waiting for some trick plays like a flea flicker or even a playaction we don't really run.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Willie pull some tricks out of the bag this week if needed.

This game against Temple, in many ways, serves as the division championship. Not only will they have 2 conference losses, but we will have the head to head.

FYI - Taggart mentioned on the coach's show that going into the game they liked the match up of Mack on the UConn LB's. The ball was thrown to Mack significantly more the last game than in prior weeks (both in the flat and downfield).

USF has basically the same offensive statistics as Alabama so far this season.  It's not a intricate route tree passing game but it is pretty effective and compliments the various running threats in the offense.

Wow, that's amazing.

If we had Bama's D too, where would we be??

Not being one-dimensional is going to be the difference for us. Stop the run, we'll burn them on the pass. But we're still a run-first team, and with Mack, DJ, & QF, why wouldn't we be? This is a really good offense, I just wish the D was more reliable.

Undefeated and ranked in the top 15, maybe even in the top 10.

Don't forget it rained hard in the first and the field was wet and slippery.
