Point....Different strokes for different folks.

Where are you sitting now?

At a bar in Coeur d'Alene ID. And my 4 season tickets are being used by the Boys and Girls club of Tampa so that I still support my Alma Mater and allow kids who may not otherwise be able to attend a game a chance to go.

Most students go for an education, not watching sports.  What's lame about that.

Those two things are not mutually exclusive.  You can do both.  Pretty sure all the students who show up to UF/FSU/UCF games are there to get an education too.

Are you sure they are being used tonight.  I used to buy extra seats for football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer. Despite being donated, or given away, many times I saw the seats remain empty.

Yes my agreement with them is they must be used for every game and if they are not going to use them then they must give them to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. That has happened only a handful of times in the 6 years I have done this. Usually they give them to a members family though and I tend to get weekly thank you notes and pictures from the kids.

Aside from supporting USF and wishing to keep my seats incase I move back to FL; I continue to buy these tickets in hopes that these kids and families not only get to do something not readily available to them butbselfishly hope maybe just maybe turn these kids into future Bulls and build the fan base.

I also donated tickets to the Bowl game and the UCF road game last season.

True, however it's by personal choice, not a requirement.

BTW, where are you tonight?

We are talking about students.....and that was a long time ago for me. School spirit at USF is lame. Your point even reinforces that.

Student  section was full and it was loud.  They showed up a little late, but they did show up.  If you were not at the game, you have no business saying the students didn't show up.  None.

It seems to me that a lot of people who complain about attendance aren't at the games. I know some don't live here anymore, but complaining about attendance with no suggestions on how to improve it seems useless. We should be focusing on how to make things better, not whining.

Ill admit I've complained about it a few times, but realize now that's just wasting time. I need to focus on what I can do to help.

Not going to lie, half of the student section was empty at kickoff and was pretty concerning. However , they started pouring in shortly after the game started.
