Guys watch out.  I told an FSU person in Atlanta that we would be running this jet sweep on him and he said: I wouldn't try that.

I think we will try it, but it won't be something we come out of the gate with. CWT isn't going to change the plays he runs for anyone (supposedly). I think we will work to establish a couple of things first, and the first sweep like play or two maybe a fake to test the defense.

I can attest to the fact that Adams runs this very well.  I was very close to the action on Saturday and he was even faster on the turf.  Guy has another gear like MM.  Neither will be caught from behind.  The downfield blocking continued to be very good vs Syracuse.

I'd like to see the wheel route that Jackson ran for several touchdowns last season.  It's a thing of beauty to see him standing all alone about 35 yards downfield waiting on the ball to arrive.

My flight leaves PHL tomorrow for a great weekend of football.

Seminole Warhawks on Friday night.

Bulls Saturday

Bucs Sunday.

Can't wait.

Go Bulls!

Seminole Warhawks?! My alma mater! Class of '01...dang, that was 15 years ago. Did you go there too?

The Jet sweep also depends on the blocking on the edge ... we've done a good job of that, and FSU's players are just men, like Cuse and NIU's players.  We just keep doing what we're doing and we will get those sweeps to work.

The reason this has worked so well is the other wr's blocking....we have some big boys at the wideout position and thus far they are doing their job and getting dirty....

Didn't see this before I just posted.  Completely agree.

What about McCants?

If have to look up height/weight, but on the screen he looks at big and tall.   If so I don't think it translates well to the play.

Short with a fast shuttle and overall game speed.

McCants looked like a MONSTER on the TV last week when they showed a close up of him.  He reminds me of Anquan Boldin's size at the NFL level.

Need to get this kid the ball more, I can't imagine he's easy to tackle.

I agree here, but my point from the start was not to discount how good Adams is on these plays.  We'll lose him next year and possibly Mack, which are two huge losses.

Couldn't agree more.  I hope FSU is discounting how good he is, though.

Of course we'll run it.  Its part of our basic offense.  The WR screens are the plays I'm worried about.  I think FSU will be all over these and Willie runs about 5 of these per game.
