This will be coach Woodie's first real test as d-coordinator. Barbers scheme and tempo could give us fits....

Yeah, I know the Vegas line and I saw what Louisville did to them.

They (Syracuse) are going to try and redeem themselves, and they are at home.

I just hope our guys aren't looking too much toward FSU and believing that every team is like NIU. By the way, NIU didn't have enough rest and had a tough loss before arriving in Tampa.

Yes, we should win.

BUT

It's a road game and there's no AC in the dome. I won't rest till this game is behind us. I'm concerned.

At least the Florida sun isn't in the dome.

I am not worried about this game.   We are the better team.   We are faster on turf and I don't think we ever lost there.

Our guys are not looking ahead, is not in this teams make up to do that.  We are anything if not consistent under CWT. We used to be consistently bad and now we are good.

We no longer play down to our opponents.

I'm not really understanding the comments people are making saying NIU didn't have enough rest. It's not like we played them on a Thursday.

The thinking is that their game in Wyoming was delayed by weather and didn't start until near 2 or 3 am Eastern Time and then went to triple OT. Didn't get back to their place until mid day Sunday and then had to fly to Tampa on Friday.  Not a huge thing

Like dozer here. Only thing I don't like is their reasonably good execution on the hurry-up O. They should be even better this week, so our mettle will be tested there. But even if it is, I think our O is good enough to out-shoot them.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
