GAME DAY VS TOWSON

USF will open its 20th season of football and 17th in FBS play on Saturday, when the Bulls take on Towson in a 7:00 p.m. kick at Raymond James Stadium. USF is 14-5 all-time in season openers and 18-1 in home openers. This will be the first meeting between the programs.

HONORARY CAPTAIN: Tampa Bay Buccaneers veteran receiver Vincent Jackson (no relation to the Bulls’ Vincent Jackson) will serve as the honorary captain for the opening game.

MOST PROLIFIC TRIPLE THREAT IN FLORIDA: USF’s top returners at quarterback, running back and wide receiver from the most prolific triple threat in the state of Florida both in returning yards and touchdowns from 2015 and one of the top 10 in the country. (Full note on page 3).

#MACKATTACK: Marlon Mack enters Saturday riding a USF record string of five-straight 100-yard games and needing just 309 yards to equal USF’s career rushing record. He has run for 275 and 131 yards in his previous two season debuts at USF, the former setting a USF and American Conference record in his first-ever game

I still have nightmares about it... But that team full of Holts recruits does not compare to the team we have now
