Preseason rankings are a combination of previous year's perception/results mixed with expectations based off returning players. Winning our bowl game, giving USF two top-25 victories in 2015, including winning 8 of last 9 games would've paid off huge in the perception/results category. But it didn't happen, so nothing you an do. Honestly I can see 30, but there are so many other teams with the same high expectation that 20-40 could all be argued as interchangeable. 

 

I can't wait for the year to START!

No game has been played yet so I think we're good. This team will be even better then that bowl game, which is why I could care less about a 2015 bowl game in the 2016 season.

I think we are good as well, but back to the topic I do not think we are a top 30 team (preseason).  I know you can care less about the 2015 bowl game, but nonetheless it is a factor in a preseason ranking.  Go Bulls!

Just curious, where would you rank USF? What teams would you rank 26 - USF?

You guys have the future scheduling all wrong. We need games against either UW or WSU. The 30 is about right for this year as of now, if all goes as planned we should be ranked heating into FSU; think we can get Gameday(been a while since that topic was brought up)?

Idaho is ahead of ECU, SMU, and UCF lmao. Realistically though, ECU is better than that.
