The school also reported an increase in "flex plan" ticket sales of more than 1,600 from last season. That plan allows the purchase of tickets to three of this season's seven home games.

 

However Joey... obviously ...had to include the announced vs actual attendance average in the article.

Overall at least 4600 more butts in seats for our biggest games is pure win... hopefully we keep selling!

Navy at home will be a big one too.  I'm guessing we average 37,000 fans this season

I thought USF announced on Twitter that it had 3,500+ new season tickets? Or does this mean about 500 people didn't renew?

There's only 8,000 student seats in the lower bowl so the 12,500 figure only applies to the FSU game.

Yes I believe so.  8,000 was the figure for the big east student section before we opened the 300 level and moved it to 12,000 then 12,501.
