There was a day and time when MB wrote what was perceived to be negative articles. I don't think they were negative (but the guy does sell clicks, like every other writer) , but I prefer to think that he was simply holding up a mirror to UCF.

 

Now, he has  a radio show, still does columns, to the extent UCF is successful, he gains content, and probably listeners and readers.. I think he hopes to grow both, by featuring UCF's success, if football especially returns to a reasonable number of wins, whatever number that might be, probably 6 minimum.

So who is the writer in the Tampa/St Pete area that is writing an article about why USF belongs in the Big 12......crickets.....more crickets.

Prefer to have it this way. USF will get in on its own merits, not because some hack is pandering for web hits.

I would be VERY surprised if the B12 even knows who MB is, or even has a passing thought about his opinion. The guy is selling clicks and daily radio ratings IMO

Bianchi is a small time writer in a small time sports town .... with only the now golfing Magic separating them from a Tallahassee/Gainesville in that regard. It'd be nice if a local columnist wrote something like but it certainly can't be expected with everything else we have here sportswise.
