So, follow this with me.

We beat #22 CSU, to go on to #10 UCLA (In California) then to #7 Texas, and then on to #1 UCONN In Connecticut

Wow, what a ladder to climb!!!

Yeah they definitely were not as nice as last year giving us a decent at best LSU team. To put us against a nearly undefeated, ranked squad, in the UConn bracket, 2,000+ miles across the country, seems a little unfair for a 6th seed.

All and all, not too bad.  CSU hasn't PLAYED a single game against a top 50 opponent this year. Fivethirtyeight.com gives us a 73% chance of winning that game,  a 20 percent chance of reaching the Sweet 16, and an 8 prevent chance of the Elite 8 rematch against UCONN.

Will win the first game then probably  lose the second.

Thread on UCONN WBB board:

AAC/USF gets a raw deal

Both AAC entries in the NCAA are in the same region. Admittedly, they cannot meet until the regional finals. But still, I think that USF has earned the right to potentially face a top seed other than the one they've battled (heroically) three times already.

Other conferences have a chance (however small) to place more than one team in the Final Four.

Well here we go! At least LA is a destination spot. Take one game at a time, send off these seniors right. :GoBulls:

ll It's disappointing but look at it this way.

We haven't faced UConn at full strength all year. Despite that, we still challenged them in Tampa, led them for a half at their place, and led them for a quarter a week later despite serious injuries. to Laksa and Ferreira. If they're up and running I see no reason why we can't challenge UConn for 4 quarters. But we need to take down Colorado state, UCLA, and Texas first.

Hate the bracket love the locale. Working out a possible weekend trip to catch the Bulls and visit family in LA.
