For South Florida head coach Willie Taggart, the labors of selling prospects on a mid-major program left in the dumpster by Skip Holtz are finally starting to pay dividends as the Bulls seemingly turned the corner in 2015 and are poised for greater heights in 2016. http://www.underdogdynasty.com/2016/1/13/10751948/willie-taggart-recruiting-south-florida-bulls-2016-AAC

He followed that up with an all-Florida class that finished just behind Cincinnati in the conference's 2015 rankings according to 247. With the current trajectory, Signing Day 2016 will most likely yield similar results. I'd love to have the 39th ranked class again this year, but I don't see how that's possible looking at our situation right now. They better get moving if they want to make this possible.

We're not going to be taking as many players because there just isn't the playing time for them.. We could possibly be starting only 6 seniors next year! It's going to be difficult to pull in 20-25 3 star players to USF when there isn't a place for them to land, as far as playing time. We'll see though.. I could be completely wrong but this is how it looks from the outside looking in.

This has always been how things work for us in recruiting. Anyone expecting us to have our classes all but filled by this time of the year hasn't been paying attention to USF recruiting over the years. Most of our highly rated commits usually come late in the game....
