Flowers is a bad QB. Plain and simple. However he is a **** good player and and incredible runner. I think our best option is to change him to rb and have AW play QB. Get both on field at same time.

Top TEAMs have upper tier QB's.

I think my granny in her wheel chair could have thrown for close to 300 yards against our blindfolded secondary.

Uhh.....I think you should re-read my post:

"......QF was one of the main reasons we won this year.....GREAT year for him as he proved me wrong and showed nice improvement all year long.  Mainly trying to say it would be interesting to see this team with a pure passer back there.  QF will always have a place on the field regardless of position and in the long run he might be better utilized elsewhere.  The team really came together and looking forward to next year and hope we come out real hungry !"

Does she have any eligibility left ?

Our DB's looked beyond lost out there.   I'm trying to re-watch the game (sober) on ESPN to give my final grades but I don't think Goodwin was on his game.

When a play breaks down he has the ability to not only extend it(how many times did we see him scramble and find a receiver running open downfield) but he also is a threat to run so they have to use a spy. His passer rating this year was higher than Grothe, Daniels or Blackwell ever had here in a single year. He had a better TD to INT ratio (wasn't even close) and had more passing TDs this year than any other USF QB since we started.

 

This offense would be garbage with a pure passer. we don't have a dominant oline or 5 star receivers
