Add legal to any equation and you have to add a couple of weeks minimum...just sayin.

Depends on the lawyers and the priority for the clients. Given that CWT and Harlan have reached an agreement for an extension in principle, that there is an existing contract and that they are focusing on the bowl game there probably is not a big rush to get it signed right now.  But yes the wordsmithing on some points could take several rounds to work out which never speeds things up.

So CWT just walked off a plane from Charlotte, NC here at TIA. Any info on why he was up there? Recruiting trip or just coming back from interview at SC?

Yeah he did the Miami Bowl presser today right after landing from Louisiana. Said something about "recruiting is a 365 day job."

Had to go back and listen again, but yeah, USF coach Willie Taggart said, "365 days out of the week, we've got to recruit." Love that guy.

Whatever the terms are...I hope we stick with it, regardless of results.  I hope the admin stays the course and allow Taggart to build off of this year.  I hope the fans will stand behind him no-matter-what until his contract ends.  We need stability in order to build a winning tradition, which will equate to program success.  Stay the course...Bullpenners.  Besides, having to pay multiple people not even working for you is bad for ROI.

Does anybody know when USF can stop paying Leavett and Holtz. If it's this year don't be surprised at a huge raise for Taggart in line with the Huston and Temple's #'s. IMO the AAC might be trying push its way into the power 5 making it 6 conferences and keeping good coaches that can have had success is a key. To do that requires paying the HC and his assistants enough money to keep them from jumping.

Leavitt's been paid off for a long time.  Holtz has 2 years left at 500K I believe.

Yup, and we're also still paying Heath.
