It was our good luck shot at football games this year - until it let us down at the Miami Beach Bowl. Brian Clark, Zach and some others would participate in a toast of "Gooooooo Bullssssssss"

Love me some Strannahan's so I'm pumped to visit the source Edited April 2, 2016 by Bull Dozer

Not a chance. Fireball is for shots only - at tailgates. May go back to old CR moniker at some point. The change to Bourbon Bull was precipitated by NoBullAboutIt suggesting we sport Bourbon Bulls T-shirts for the next party at our house. Then my wife suggested I change my name on here. BT is pretty good for the price range. I've become a Four Roses fan, though. The Four Roses Single Barrel may be better than Knob Creek. Maybe. If you are a Knob Creek fan, you probably don't like Maker's much, and vice versa. The two are pretty much on opposite ends of the spectrum. The are owned by Sazerac, which also owns Buffalo Trace. Speaking of 1792, pretty solid bourbon for the price point. Barton's and Buffalo Trace also make bourbon creams. BT was better, IMO. I'm not much of a fan really, but my wife loves them with coffee. Works like Bailey's.

I love most of the wheated bourbons but yet there are some high rye content ones that I like as well. My tastes are definitely evolving. Was mostly a Makers guy when I started. Now there are literally dozens that I appreciate. The Old Forrester 2014 Birthday is my favorite but I have that on rare occasion since it is so hard to find. I bought my bottle on the secondary market for $190. The same guy now has a bottle for sale for $350. Not spending that much. Too many others that are good. I really need to grab a drink with TBP elite. Unfortunately we've expanded our bourbon party to 2 parties this year and both of them are maxed out. Don't know how to get more guys here unless I don't invite the non bourbon drinking spouses. In the past I've put open invitations on here but can't do that this year. Got to meet YoSoy and his wife last year. Swamprat, Ricky the Bull, Pasco Bull, YoSoy, TBBull717 will all be here.
