Aside from this game, I would say that QFs deep ball is one of his best strengths... man, you guys are very critical, the kid has been putting the deep ball on the money pretty much all year. There have been several drops on well placed deep balls from him or he would have monster TD numbers (I'd say roughly 5-6 more probably).

The TD pass, I think he aimed it in there... saw how open Adams was and probably started thinking about not screwing it up rather than throwing it in there. It worked, but, not the best pass. It happens. The over-throws were all early when it was raining as well. Beyond the ball being more difficult to throw, it's possible that field conditions made everyone a bit slower in their breaks and even straight speed, those balls may have been very well thrown with the guys not having to run through the mud.

Bottom line, give the kid a break, he's playing extremely well. He's not the next Peyton Manning, but, at the college level in the AAC, he can do some big BIG things for us.

I agree good points all around.  Plus thigh bruise may not be 100%.

But, but, but Steven Bench is better.  The QBR's all say so.

Says no one ever.

Do you realize now how foolish this Steven Bench is better debate was.

He's still too short to be a QB, QBR is way too low for us to win games, can't throw the deep ball, and wait where are all the haters at.

This is now fun now that we are winning some games.

With 3 more games and possibly a bowl, I predict he'll end up with about 2,100 passing and 950 rushing, which would put him at #6, and ahead of 2 BJD years and 2 MB years.  He has an decent shot at #3 (3,198 yards by MG), but would need to put up huge numbers in at least 1 or 2 of the games.

Dual threat QB's do very well at USF at that's all we should be recruiting moving forward, especially since there are alot of good ones in Florida. If Mack stays he will shatter the career rushing mark, would be nice to see his projected stats if he stays.

I think it would be a huge mistake for Mack to leave. If Ezekiel stayed at OSU then certainly Mack should stay here at a minimum of 1 more year. Just my opinion.

Mack can't leave until after next year.  He didn't redshirt and is a true sophomore.  He has to stay 3 years.  If he puts up 1,500 yards next year, he may forego senior year.

QF intentionally threw it that way to make sure Adams really concentrated on catching the ball .... perfectly thrown balls that hit him right in the hands seem to end up dropped.

Funny

To QFs credit, he recalled the same play while watching the films for the week. He said Temple? overthrew it out of bounds so he made sure to throw it on the inside. It is nice debating scoring plays. Man, how a year can change things.

So he knows he's inaccurate and tries to compensate.  Not sure of your point.

he has drastically improved

his passing is horrible at times but he has turned into a great field general and his teammates respect him

if he hit his open receivers he would have 2500 yards
