He has made excellent decisions... Passes not always on target but for a young qb he goes through his reads quite well. Lot of drops this year or his stats would look even better.

Pretty impressive actually.

As much as Flowers is growing on me, I still cringe just about every time he throws it.  I still don't think our offense can be consistently good with a QB who can't complete a pass from the pocket.  He is doing as well as can be expected which is nice though.

Will be interesting when Woulard can compete next year. With QF improving will be harder to get him on the field unless there is a set back

Flowers has been a very welome surprise.

He's certainly no pocket passer but I give the kid all the credit in the whole world for making the most of his God given abilities.

I was thinking that too. However, 300 yrds + rushing in the next 3 games? That's a tall order for a QB. I see him ending up around 3000 total yards on the season. A solid season for the offense we have been running.

He may have 4 games left. Just sayin'.

Perhaps even 5 more games if things go our way.

Those were very tough conditions for a qb he has done much better than I expected.

He has that gamer attitude like Grothe which we haven't had at qb in years.

I think that Rodney Adams has had a lot to do with QF's improvement this year.

He only needs 172 yards to pass Chad Barnhardt for #10... He could do that against Temple...

He needs 407 to pass BJ for #9 and 479 to pass Marquel for #8 ... he could get there against Temple & Cincinnati...

He needs 652 yards to pass BJ for #7 ... he could get there against Temple, Cincinnati, & UCF...

He would neeed 789 to pass Marquel for #6... he could get there against Temple, Cincy, UCF, & Bowl game...

I don't see him getting the 1020 yards to reach #5... unless he has HUGE days against UCF and either Cincy or the Bowl game.

Dual threat QB's do very well at USF at that's all we should be recruiting moving forward, especially since there are alot of good ones in Florida. If Mack stays he will shatter the career rushing mark, would be nice to see his projected stats if he stays.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
