Is this the first time (besides against FAMU) that the Bulls have been favored this season?

We are 5-1 ATS. I think Vegas has to balance us out. I feel like we cover but I'm staying away from that line.

Wow! I figured we would be about a 7 point favorite

If it were me, and I just watched SMU play today on ESP3 replay, I'd put us as favored by 3 points.

Yes, we can win big. But I think we have too many negative factors that scare me.

Besides Famu SMU is worse defense we might face all year. Should win big.

We were 4 pt faves v Cuse, dropping to 1.5 faves at kick off.(note:  I heard some say it slipped to Cuse as the fave, but I didn't see that on my betting site).

13 is a LOT...I'd not touch that.  Both offenses are MUCH better than last year, and SMU's D is horrendous.  But SMU is coming off a bye, and QB Matt Davis is electric.  He can run & pass, and they have a 6'4" stud WR that will be hard to cover (since our tallest DB is 6'0", now that Robbins is gone).  We'll need to pop his skinny but every chance we get.

I see this being in the 38-35 range, unless our D gets to Davis & forces some turnovers.

SMU offense ranks: 424 ypg (53rd) and 30.8 ppg (61st).

Memphis: 533ypg (10th) and 46 ppg (4th).

For comparison we are 418 ypg (56th) and 28.8 ppg (71st).

Our Defense is built to stop offenses like Memphis, SMU, Houston, and Cincinnati. Time to start putting this scheme to the test. Go time boys!

BTW I would take USF but by 4-5 not 13. SMU will score, I just think we will score more. I know I'm so philosophical.
