It went into the ditch and over the side of the mountain a long time ago. Something tells me its overall freefall course isn't altered.... we still won't be making the postseason, and it isn't even worth much to beat UCF this year.

It is always worth a great deal to beat them.  They are our rival and it will be a big game.  So much so that the AAC had made it their most promoted rivalry game.  We will b eon ESPN on Thanksgiving.  Like it or not, this will likely be our biggest game of the year as long as we are in the same conference with them.

Absolutely agree with you practically, but in principle, I'll say that 5-2 will look MUCH better than 4-3.
