5-7 or 6-6, and Taggart is shown the door. I think we will be better, but Noles, Maryland, Cuse, Cincy, Memphis, UCF, ECU and Navy are all tough games for a struggling program. Hard to see us winning more than a couple of those.

Davis is slow, has a garbage attitude, and is scared of contact. Not exactly a winning combination in the NFL. He did win us a few games this year though.

Huh? Outside of the top-50 is amazing? Man, we've fallen. The fact that we have fallen makes anything under 75 amazing ... says you. if we weren't "down" I'd expect a class in the top 35 most years. given that we *are* down, last years class being top 40 was amazing. a class barely in the top 60 is back to the lows of 2010-11. almost the worst since joining BE is somehow amazing now? at "best" it's average. folks thinking it's amazing must feel we should only be pulling in top 80-90 classes? that'll be the day... Of course "says me". All these are are our opinions ... and are your non down years expectations strictly based on your belief in CWT's recruiting skills? They certainly can't be based on any sort of history. 2009. 2014. They average out to top 35. Following some of our best and worst years respectively. Not according to who, I think, are the the two top sites out there, Rivals & 247 ..... and it's not even close at 49. (29+49)/2 => 39. Sorry. We should "expect" to be top 40 imo in a good times. I'd expect top 60 to be the low end, which is exactly where we are. To me, that makes sense. I can't really imagine how anyone can consider top 60 to be "amazing" though. Because, that means you must really think we're deserving of a top 80 class. I hope our fans have more expectation than that given where we are located. To expect a top 40 class, when considering our weaker conference, and horrible record over the past few years is unrealistic. Taggart landed a solid class, all things considered. USF football is a dumpster fire right now.

FSU, Maryland & Syracuse are loses, no way he goes 5-2 in conference……….Adios Amigo Maryland and Cuse are not good. Unfortunately, you are probably right...but if Taggs can't beat two mediocre power 5 schools in his third year, it's time for him to go.

I just don't understand wtf you people are talking about sometimes. WHAT have you seen from Bench that makes you think he is better than White? It's White, and it's not even close (unless Flowers has an incredible offseason).

Unfortunately, we haven't seen much to expect anything other than another horrific year. I'm expecting the worst, hoping for the best.

He will probably have a top 10 defense there. Never should have been fired.

Very unlikely you start a true freshman over a junior with 2 years of game experience, or Flowers, who Taggart seems to really want to win the job. If Kean DOES win the starting job, that means he is probably pretty good. And i'm all for that. Let's wait until he signs though.

Amen ... Totally agree. Can we just forget what he did for our program and never mention his name again? amen the guy failed to win here at any level Except, you know, taking us to bowl games, beating BCS opponents OOC, 4-0 against UCF, and national recognition as an up and coming program...Which we pissed all away just a few years after his firing. Although I know you are doing your usual schtick.

The nerve of some of you to complain about bowl tie ins when we havent been in 4 years. How about we get into a bowl before we whine about it? Personally, I would take any bowl game. Extra practices and being on display at the end of the year is great no matter who or where you play.

Dont know why you are obsessed with what Holtz is doing at another school. He sucked here, that's all that matters. Also, as bad as this season was. It was technically an improvement over last year.

Say what you want about White but he is a competitor. Played through quite a few injuries this year.

He will get a 3rd year mostly for financial reason. But if we dont go bowling in year 3 he is gone and I dont think anyone can argue that he wasn't given a chance. Two years in a complete rebuild is rough no matter who the coach is, but I have to say I dont have confidence we will turn it around in year 3.

If we win the fans will come. Maybe not 60k+ like it was, but if we are competing for a conference championship we will bring people back. Usf football has been hopeless for 4 years now. Florida fans are fragile, even storied programs like Florida struggle with attendance during bad seasons. We need a bowl game, an 8 or 9 win season, and a wins against teams other than uconn and Tulsa. Until then, it won't get any better

Bench played okay but he missed some wide open guys that could have been touchdowns. Then again, White did the same thing. But overall he is more accurate.

I really wanted Taggart to work out here. But I wouldn't be upset if he was fired after this game. Bad playcalling, bad execution, boring. 0-2 against ucf

It is hilarious that you guys don't think Bench has been given his shot. He played two full games this season (minus one play) and did nothing to secure the job. Nothing. White is a pocket passer and Flowers is (supposedly) a dual threat QB. Bench is really neither..

Unless Flowers becomes a DRASTICALLY better passer, White should be our starter next year. However, it's pretty obvious Taggart is trying to push Flowers as a QB despite on the field results, so who knows.

Saw that tweet and was amazed. I don't know what Flowers is showing in practice but it has NOT translated to actual games yet. White has had some good games this year. He was on tonight and made some great throws. Not saying Flowers won't turn out to be a good QB for us, but he is nowhere near the passer White is right now.
