    I don't think we should have gone for it there, but I would have liked to see a replay of that spot. Looked like he was a lot closer.

    I think Flowers is doing fine on the few passing attempts he has had. I don't understand why we aren't taking a shot against one of the worst passing defenses in the country though. Flowers showed he could hit the deep ball last week, give him a chance.

    Taggart was considered a home run at the time, much like Holtz. Sometimes things don't work out as you expect.

    That's your problem right there. I disagree and I'm sure i'm not alone. I have seen nothing from Bench that makes me think he is any better than Flowers. Sure, He throws a better spiral, but he has always had accuracy issues. I don't think Flowers is great by any means, but when two guys are so close (as the coaches obviously think), you stick with the guy that has longevity. Bench has had 3 years to seize the position and couldn't do it. He is an adequate back up. That said, if he does ever come in (which is almost certain), I hope he kills it, takes over the position, and leads us to a bowl game. There just isn't any evidence that he will do that.

    The Bench fantasy is getting ridiculous. I can't wait until this year is over so we can start the Woulard/Flowers/Kean arguments.

    No, he shouldn't. There isn't much upside to bringing Bench in. Let Flowers develop. Obviously he will come in at the worst possible time though, and kill any offensive momentum we have.

    It would put the final nail in the USF football coffin. UCF fans would embrace him, by the way. As long as he won there. Winning cures all.

    I don't think we will be favored in any games the rest of the way. Too many unknowns about our defense after the Maryland game. If they are FSU game good, we win 4-5 more. If they are Maryland game bad, 0 more. Somewhere in the middle we win 2-3. I think we know what we have on offense. If we allow more than 20 points it's game over.

    Schneider is going to be solid for them. I think I'd rather we go against Holman.

    You guys wanting Cristobal are insane. We already tried the up and coming C-USA/Sunbelt coach. We need somebody that has won at a high level. I wouldn't say no to Butch.

    Realistically, we are going to get blown out. But that's why they play the game. A few bounces go our way, a few interceptions and we could win it. Memphis has a terrible defense, we will score some points, it just depends on which USF defense shows up.

    It's really upsetting how good Cincinnati's back up QB is while we fight over Bench and Flowers. Guy has a cannon

    Wasn't it in his settlement that He couldn't ever coach here again? I know I read that, but I'm not sure where. If it isn't. Then He should be a serious candidate when Tags is gone. I loved Leavitt, but it wasn't all great when he was here. We had some terrible losses as well, but the ceiling was much higher.

    A midseason firing is not going to help this team. IF anything was announced it would be a huge mistake. Let the season play out and make your decision then. We haven't even made it into conference play.

    Now, I have been drinking so correct me if I'm wrong...but didn't he only have one completion over the middle that was called back, then a horrible interception that was also called back due to penalty? I know there is quite a bit of sarcasm here, but he didn't complete multiple passes, except to the other team.

    I've me a break.. You think he was okay because we dropped one ball? He's a TERRIBLE QB. We had a receiver HIT a touchdown out of our receivers hand. They either held on the screens or didn't block their man. And there were more than one drop. I didn't say Flowers was good, anyways. Just that He didn't cost us the game. The drop, combined with the defense letting that TD right before the half, changed the entire game. Along with pulling Flowers after a TD drive. This team is bad in many aspects.
