Are you serious? Have you not watched the game? He was over throwing balls all day. He got lucky. I am serious. He threw for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns. Two long passes to Mitchell came back as well. I'm not a B.J Daniels fan, but he was good today.

The schedule is pretty strong this year. I think 7-5 or 8-4 is likely. I would be thrilled with anything above that, and anything below will leave me depressed for another offseason.

The new word on from NC is that they are "locking onto" Chris Peterson of Boise. Tar Heel Illustrated, in an ongoing effort to provide readers with the latest in North Carolina's search for a new head football coach, has discovered some new information on Monday. Two different sources have confirmed to our staff Monday evening that Boise State head coach Chris Petersen and his family will be visiting Chapel Hill on or around Monday, December 5. Boise State's last regular season game is at home against New Mexico on Saturday, December 3, and with the BSU team taking a break from practice at the end of the regular season for end-of-semester exams, it would be a uniquely ideal time for Petersen to visit UNC. We initially learned of this development in a phone call from a source Monday afternoon, and then less than an hour later Eddy Landreth confirmed with one of his trusted sources---the same source who helped him break the news that Butch Davis was coming to UNC---with news that was virtually verbatim with what the earlier source had told us. Despite several names being thrown around in recent days, our staff at THI has not wavered from the idea that Peterson has been AD Bubba Cunningham's No. 1 choice all along, and that he's zeroed in on the Boise State coach in an effort to land him for UNC.
