  1. I really don't see how it's possible to be offsides so many times. Watch the ball you dope.
  2. That was the most pathetic display by a USF defense I have ever seen. Wow.
  3. Are you serious? Boyle has had all kinds of time (with the exclusion of the last play) and UConn has dropped two TD passes, including a WIDE OPEN bomb.
  4. Davis fell down on the pass that was picked. That said, we should go with White if Eveld doesn't get the offense moving.
  5. If I was still a student, I wouldn't have gone to the game either. Nobody wants to see an 0-4 team. If...IF USF manages to win at UConn I would hope for a better turn out, but that's a huge if.
  6. O line was a huge improvement tonight in pass protection. They have played awful this year.
  7. So glad USF got the win against Cincy! They always seem to dominate us, especially at home. Now, hopefully we can get a win at UConn....
  8. I don't have confidence we get 3 wins after what I saw Saturday.
  9. Andre Davis is that last player that would quit on this team. He is a Tampa kid and loves USF. The player that walked off the field last year was Marcus Shaw and he played his butt off on Saturday. Looked like Dre quit to me as well. That guy is talented as can be, but he does not give 100% every play. That was an issue in my eyes last year as well.
  10. I stand by this thread. I called Woulard bailing too. Floyd needed as much playing time as possible. I hope he has improved over last season though. If Floyd struggles I suspect people will want Bench pretty quickly. As long he can handle the snap this year, I think he will be okay.
  11. Yeah...haven't heard ANYTHING about him in a long time. It's a shame, I remember being excited about his recruitment.
  12. "Commitments" before the season never last. If he ends up at USF great, but i'm not surprised by this at all.
  13. I agree about the experience...but it's a bowl game close to home. I'd much rather be there than Birmingham.
  14. Ucf will beat us this year if we don't get a transfer qb. It sucks but they have to win one sometime.
  15. Although I don't consider marijuana a drug, it's illegal for now...either don't do it, or do it at home. Hotboxing a car when you are in the NFL (and not a star player) is about as dumb as it gets.
  16. I would be THRILLED if we finished fifth in the conference. After last year, that would be a huge improvement.
  17. Holtz always seemed like a good guy, and he did lead us to a bowl win over Clemson. It's amazing how bad things got last year. Towards the end, it looked like he had never coached a game in his life. I hope he does well in LA, but I'm glad that we have Taggart.
  18. Unless ESPN nearly doubles NBCs offer, NBC is the better deal. 3:30 games I can watch nationally on NBCSN is much more appealing than games on Thursday/Friday night games and Saturday games that I have to stream through the xbox.
  19. Not excited about this hire at all...I guess we could do worse since he clearly wasn't our first choice. I'm hoping for the best, I guess it can't get any worse than the defense we had with Cosh.
  20. Not thrilled that Lance hasn't made a decision yet. We really need a DC hire to happen. Hopefully this means we have moved past Amato though, don't want him.
  21. Like his enthusiasm, but he seemed to argue a lot with a senior quarterback last year. It's going to be interesting seeing how he works with possibly a true freshman. He also had a lot of drops..
  22. They gave holtz the same grade. I like the hire, but we need to see results on the field.
  23. Not surprised He is following Taggart. Love that Taggart has landed 4 commits in a week though.
  24. LOL .... Wait, were you serious? Sorry for the double post, but not sure what you mean here... As of now, I think most people would agree Eveld is the most competent QB on the roster. We have an unknown in Mike White, Floyd showed promise but is definitely a project, and we are in the running for Woulard. Not a lot of depth there. He should have two years left, it really was a bonehead decision by Holtz, and I was saying this before He got injured in the Miami game.
