Well all we can do is wait until tonight to see if this is true. Credit to Hem if it's correct and if not, quit throwing out BS rumors :D

Just letting you know what I heard. The source is legit, unless he's trolling me hard.

If this is true then I can respect him for that. Knowing you can't fulfill what is asked and quitting to go somewhere else is better than raping the University out of $10 million or $2.5 if fired. Skip is a good guy, just a **** head coach.

Just heard it from a friend who's father is on the AD for football at USF. Skip will be handing his papers in tonight after the Pitt game.

If he resigns he will forfeit his contract and not receive any more money. Why not wait to get fired and receive the $2.5M buyout? The only way he resigns is if he is pursing another job.

If true, there was probably some settlement for him to resign vs. being fired that would cost USF less money.

Like I said, he probably is resigning to go to another job at a BCS school.

Would you mind saying it again?

I am not believing it. Based on hem's posts I believe he would have started drinking in celebration the minute he heard it and not have stopped. Meaning he should be passed out right now. Since not passed out, not true.
