No, you don't hear the part where he's thinking of transferring. You just hear the end result.

Though it's undoubtedly true.  He visited USF and obviously must have a standing offer to join the team.  If we were his top choice he would have announced.  We're the fall back option while he explores other opportunities.  It's not necessarily a a bad thing for him to hold onto, but where else is he going to go that's going to all but guarantee him playing time?  What better school has a messier QB situation?  If he goes to another P5 program, he'll be right where he was at UCLA.
