Taggart recently claimed Mack as the best he's coached.

Agree on Johnson...he's got skills. Tice, too. But there are only so many carries to go around. I love Mack, but you have to admit...his stats were very padded with 275 yards v West Carolina. Take that away, and he's a very average 70 ypg. THAT said, our QB was terrible, letting teams stuff the box and our line was a bit flawed. He clearly has the vision, speed and elusiveness. Could use a little more muscle, IMO. Hopefully he's not required to be so much of the offense, so his ypc goes up, and he's less beat up deeper into the season...especially for our bowl game. He was not even mentioned. He will be the #2 running back and to me, he has just as much potential as Mack, plus I expect him to play with a chip on his shoulder. Mark my works, this running game will be sick this year. Everybody has experience and have physically matured. Oh yea, a fullback that's pretty awesome and can catch. I know you're not referring to football, so what then?

I know you're not referring to football, so what then? I think Tice is a great running back as well. He may not be as good as Mack, but he should do a solid job as the back up and maybe get 5-600 yards rushing.

He's a beast catching out of the backfield, just hasn't had the same chances as Mack. If he/she knew the ability of Johnson , we would be higher on the list. Numbers don't mean everything. Add in Swanson and we could have the best backfield in the conference IMO

He had a few runs that had be pulled thru a tackle, had a lot more yards ahead. That's encouraging...although 20 is a lot (unless his previously reported weight was a bit exaggerated).
