If someday a stadium was South of the Sun Dome, that overpass could be very useful during football season.

LOL at the quote MOSI ... is not competing well when stacked up against other science museums nationwide. Everything's a competition these days, I really didn't realize MOSI's across the US competed with each other, though. How naive of me. But one thing's very true about that land for all you guys that are ready to count it for an OCS (IF they move MOSI): that is 80 acres in the epicenter of what could be a spectacular innovation district that could attract the headquarters of high-tech companies. ruh, roh, raggy. You left out part of the quote: “Whether or not that’s USF using the space,†he said, “that is 80 acres in the epicenter of what could be a spectacular innovation district that could attract the headquarters of high-tech companies.†I also highlighted the operative word. This is one persons opinion of what the site could be used for. Left out the part on purpose, wasn't relevant to the fact that USF would likely have competition for the land. And you're right it's only one person's opinion, but that one person is a noted real estate developer who's got his eye out for things like this. To build an OCS there, you have to tear down the building. To build a business HQ you have to convert/update/add on, which is considerably cheaper than building a new facility. It would be FAR cheaper to keep the building and demolish the crosswalk than v.v. #jussayin

While an OCS could work there, I would like it on the traditional footprint of USF, but, that could provide some much needed parking. which is why I mentioned the overpass. It's conveniently close to the athletic stuff. OCS could be neat.

My kids would look forward to game day a lot more if that and the domeMAX was part of the package.
