Many years ago, a company (i don't recall the name) made an ear piece that you could buy for around $20 and you could listen to the game broadcast in real time while in the stadium.... This company is still around as i see people on TV at other venues have this device, it no longer exists for USF. USF games are on AM radio and its quite challenging finding an AM app turner that has the USF broadcast channel on the iPhone....you can listen to the game through other means via the iPhone but then its not in real time, and there is a 5-10 second delay on the broadcast. Surely, you could go old school and purchase a walkman, however those are not bluetooth compatible therefore you are listening with a headphone wire hanging down to your walkman. I am looking for a way to listen to the game in real time (no delay) while in the stadium using bluetooth/wireless headphones, any suggestions would be great!

I may be incorrect but I believe there is no cost to USF. We are providing a service for people who want it but have no outlay of any cost.....The company takes on all the risk and reward of course, the USF tailgate provided in the past was a big losing proposition for the athletic dept.

Disagree, it was quick hire for him, remember he had just gotten hired as the AD then the Masiello deal went down & he felt pressured to make a quick hire. I am not saying Orlando was a bad choice/hire but Harlan definitely gets a "pass" on this one

All the wonderful selling points and what USF has to offer mean absolutely nothing if you don't sell tickets and raise money. So, NO at the rate we sell tickets & the amount of money we raise we absolutely are NOT big time enough. Truth hurts but that is 100% the reality. We all need to be rooting for the Big 12 to vote NOT to expand this year and table it for a yr or 2, we will be much better off then......

I have found sites that have the display cases similar to previous ones, however all the sites i am finding them on, want quantity orders.....google ticket display acrylic case.......see what you can find....

For all those chiming in about a big raise, all of you have contacted the Bulls Club to increase your donation right? Whether your increased by $100, $1000, $10,000 (whatever you can afford) you increased what you give because I know you aren't expecting additional money to appear on a tree without you giving more. REMEMBER; If you don't give don't b*tch if you don't give MORE don't ask to spend more $$$$$

December 5/6........A combination of the Bowls/AD's make the decision, they meet weekly to decide what would be best for all, Miami Beach Bowl is probably our most likely destination, of the available bowl games to us, its the game we are most pushing for......

St Pete isn't ideal, but if its St Pete vs the Skipper it would def be good for attendance & thats all bowl games care about!

Agreed, when an OCS is built one day it should only be built for 40k (option to one day expand) but 40k is a def a nice # to consistently shoot for.

1) At 1030 on a Wed night there is minimal to do 2) i give a **** 3) those that are USF fans do care 4) no stock being taken, free pub is always nice 5) i did enjoy seeing Rocky in the opening song for Gameday 6) it did not help USF on the court or field, but maybe it convinced even 1 kid to apply which the application fee does help USF

Do you think USC wants to be called Southern California and the networks are just sticking it to them? Do you not believe in the directional school perception? In this situation i do not believe you can compare 2 programs, at this point it doesn't effect USC they have a brand identity established, identity is still something we are working on, and i believe it is much easier to identify with us as South Florida. I also don't believe we should be using our shield logo anywhere, the "U" is what should all always be used. the same thing needs to be ingrained in peoples heads, time after time, year after year that is the only way they will get it. Most schools don't identify with initials and majority that do have been around for hundreds of years. Just as you can say about Southern Cal, i can say North Carolina doesn't brand UNC and South Carolina certainly doesn't brand USC…..

I couldn't disagree more, i much rather be referred to as South Florida than USF, obviously South Florida doesn't fit on the TV screen so they have no choice but to put S. Florida. A lot of times on the bottom line it does say South Florida, when the box score appears it shows South Florida, this is definitely the way it should be. I would have to imagine the administration kinds of sorta decides though i imagine ESPN has some say, anything the conference puts out unfortunately they label us as USF. Our school name is South Florida, it looks better sounds better & hopefully continues to be that way nationally…..
