Unfortunately lack of funds/boosters puts USF at a disadvantage.

How much are you contributing to help?

Behind Tulsa? Horrific.

It is NOT too much to ask to be leading the conference in the metrics described. Yet we're way behind. Why? Baffling.

Baseball and Softball will help boost UCF before this year is over. But the secret weapon is the best name in all of NCAA baseball, a Freshman pitcher ( who has become the Friday night starter) Cre Finfrock.

WTF kind of a name is Finfrock? Dresses for fish? :D I'm guessing it's Irish

Heckuva list tho. Proof that parents can be veddy veddy cruel, LOL

Here at D1Baseball.com, we want to have some fun, in addition to bringing you the best analysis, news and feature stories on college baseball. So today we are launching our Out In Left Field blog, where you can find items about the lighter side of college baseball. We hope to highlight some of the things that make college baseball’s culture unique and entertaining.

In the course of gathering information for our season preview coverage, we came across some fantastic names. Some of them are unique, some are cool, some are just fun to say out loud. With about 300 Division I teams that each have about 35 players on their rosters, we surely overlooked some great names, but here are some of our favorite names in college baseball in 2015. Note: we only included Division I players (sorry, Tee Payne). Who’d we miss? Post your suggestions in the comments section below.

Without further ado, our All-Name Team Watch List (in order of my personal preference, according to my own entirely subjective criteria — thanks to the entire D1Baseball staff for submitting nominations).

Do I ever lead you  astray? It's good to be number 1.

I once had a co worker named Thomas Thomas.

My mothers name was O'Rear. One of her cousins married a guy named Sidebottom. No joke. I refused to go to the wedding, I could not trust myself to attend the event keep my mouth shut the whole day.
