How did you assign points in Tennis that didn't have regular season standings, just the tournament?

While there is no American Cup, there is the "NACDA Learfield Sports Directors' Cup is an award given annually by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics to the colleges and universities in the United States with the most success in collegiate athletics". Stanford usually wins it. And UCLA is usually among the top 10 finalists, so good choice going there for an AD. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Director's_Cup

I once had a co worker named Thomas Thomas.

 

My mothers name was O'Rear. One of her cousins married a guy named Sidebottom. No joke. I refused to go to the wedding, I could not trust myself to attend the event keep my mouth shut the whole day.

I'd have been the guy with the banner that said, "Congrats Mrs O'Rear Sidebottom!" Hope the guy isn't a bum... :nope:

Football and volleyball are scored based on regular season only since there is no american post-season
M/W Soccer, M/W basketball, M/W Tennis, Baseball and Softball are scored based on Tournament seedings and an extra point for each tourney win
M/W X-Country, M/W Swim, M/W IT&F, M/W OT&F, M/W Golf, W Rowing are all scored based on tournament finish.

Again if you play the sport you'll get at teast 1 point, if you don't play the sport you'll get 0 points.
Sports that have more teams get a heavier weight, Football, M/W Basketball, W X-Country, W IT&F, WTennis are all weighted the highest all have the entire conference in the sport.
