Forget this guy. He will probably head to play internationally. But there are tweets out there of a couple of players that visited this weekend.

He's allowed to enter one draft without repercussions if he didn't hire an agent. The second time he will not be allowed back.

That's interesting.

I read an article the other day which said the NCAA is seriously considering changing the rules to allow college players to retain their eligibility after entering the draft. The rationale is that a lot of players who don't get drafted might want to go back to playing in college and get their degree. The article said, that it stood a good chance of passing in 2016. I don't have a link to it, but I'm sure a google news search would turn up that one or similar articles.

Who visited and are any of them eligible this year?

Of all the current recruits, this is the one guy I really really wanted. Hopefully we still get him.

Does anyone know whether the kid signed with an agent and whether we can get him back in the USF fold?

He should have hired me. I'd have saved him the typical 3-5% on his deal and only charged him a flat $15,000 fee.

Unless things changed recently, do not count Montero making it to USF.

Geno Thorpe a 6'3 guard that avg 8.7 points at Penn State visited, he will have to sit out thus year and have two More to play

Johan Lofberg 6'7 SF/SG from Sweden could be rligible for next year.

This is a google, Spanish to English, translation of a tweet.

Pedro Pablo: "Orlando Antigua called to say that 5 [NBA] teams have contacted him interested in Luis David Montero".

Perhaps, he should have been his agent. LOL

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
